Parent Advisory

The Parent Advisory meetings are for you!

This is an informal group that meets throughout the school year with Mr. Tom Breuning, Principal at CHS, to review and improve communication channels between CHS and parents.  New parents are welcome to join.

Mission:
Strive for excellence at the high school through effective collaborative representation of all stakeholders.

Vision:
Active two-way communication between the high school and parents.
Active parent involvement at the high school.
Support and nurturing of communication, parent involvement and leadership.
Outreach with community in communication, involvement, and stewardship.

Goals:
To improve the communication between parents and the high school.
To include parental input in the high school structure.
To date, the Parent Advisors have advised the administration on parents' perspective on specific school issues, served as advisors to the school leadership team, provided suggestions for enhancing the school's website, and made recommendations for improving the orientation and registration process.

All meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in the West Building Learning Commons
