Our team consists of gymnasts from 7th through 12th grade.
We have a varsity and JV team that practice and compete together. Some of our weekend invitationals are Varsity competitors only, but JV attends to support and help with timing, scoring, and mat placement.

1) Athletes must be registered with a current physical on file in order to attend tryouts.

2) Tryouts will be held November 10th through November 14th from 3:30 – 5:30 in the gymnastics room. Bring a leo, tennis shoes, grips, and water bottle.

Minimum Requirements:
(loosely based on club level 4 skills)

Vault:
            Handspring with stuck landing (not hollow/flat back landing on mats)

Bars:
            Kips, back or front hip circles, flyaway or sole circle dismount

Beam:
      Cartwheels, full turn, jumps/leaps, dismount

Floor Tumbling examples:
      Round off, back handspring, back handspring - OR -
      Round off, back handspring, back tuck
      Front handsprings or front tucks
Floor General:
      1 ½ turn on foot OR handstand pirouette
      120° leaps
      Back and front walkovers

3) Practices will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:30-5:45pm in the gymnastics room (bus transportation from the middle school to the high school provided), as well as Mondays and Wednesdays at Flyaways Gymnastics in Forest Lake from 7:00pm-9:30pm. All practices are mandatory.
