Tennis, girls
Centennial girls high school tennis is a no-cut program with three teams: varsity, junior varsity and c team. Players in grades 7-12 are eligible to participate.
Coaches note only work on developing tennis skills in every player, but also emphasizing the importance of character and teamwork. After tryouts, participants will be assigned a spot on one of the three teams based on the results of their match play. The program promotes the belief that tennis is a lifetime sport that will have lasting benefits. Players who participate on varsity for at least three matches will earn a letter award.
